Short Double Ended Synthetic Dreadlocks – Backcombed Extensions by DreadLab
Add instant volume and texture with DreadLab’s Short Double Ended Synthetic Dreadlock Extensions. These short dreads are crafted from high-quality synthetic hair using a backcombing and twisting technique to create a tight, defined texture that lasts.
Each dreadlock measures approximately 25 cm when installed (50 cm outstretched) and has a diameter of 0.5–0.75 cm, making them shorter and slimmer than standard dreads — ideal for compact or partial dread styles.
They are firm when new to hold their structure during installation but will soften naturally with wear, becoming more flexible over time. Their tapered ends give a clean, professional finish that complements a wide range of looks.

Installation Instructions:
1️⃣ Section a small portion of hair.
2️⃣ Split the hair into two parts.
3️⃣ Place the centre of the dreadlock between the sections of hair at the scalp.
4️⃣ Braid one side of your hair around the dreadlock.
5️⃣ Secure with a mini elastic band (available separately).
Maintenance Tips:
- Wash with DreadLab Dreadlocks Shampoo.
- To re-tighten, gently re-twist with heat or use a crochet hook for loose hairs.
- Dreads soften and relax naturally with continued use.
💡 For a full head, we recommend around 50 dreadlocks.
💡 For a half head, 30 dreadlocks is usually enough.
