Double ended synthetic dreadlocks are a quick and effective way to create a full dreadlock style without permanently locking your own hair. They can be braided in securely and removed when needed, making them ideal for festivals, alternative styling, holidays, photoshoots or everyday wear.

For full head coverage, we recommend around 8-10 packs, depending on your hair thickness, head size and desired fullness.

🧴 How to Install

① Section a small amount of hair where the dreadlock will be attached.

② Split the section into 2 individual pieces of hair.

③ Place the centre of the double ended dreadlock against your scalp, between the 2 pieces of hair.

④ Braid your own hair around one half of the synthetic dreadlock.

⑤ Secure the braid in place with a small elastic band.

We recommend using DreadLab Mini Hair Elastics for installing synthetic dreadlocks.

🧼 Maintenance

• Wash gently using a small amount of dreadlock shampoo when needed

• To re-tighten, anchor the dreadlock to something fixed and re-twist

• Wrap a damp cloth around the dreadlock and carefully steam seal with hair straighteners

• Use a crochet hook to pull loose hairs back into the dreadlock if needed

• Allow dreadlocks to dry fully before storing or reusing

Synthetic dreadlocks should always be cared for gently. Avoid excessive heat, rough brushing or heavy product use, as this can affect the shape and finish of the dreadlocks.
